Taking a cruise on a commercial cruise ship is a great, low-cost way to see lots of fabulous places and to scuba dive.

Until now, the challenge has been to find easy, convenient, economical ways to dive the best sites at your cruise ports given the constraints of time, transportation, and limits on carrying gear. The cruise ships themselves commonly offer dive excursions, but they are often crowded, costly and don't necessarily go where you want to dive.

My wife and I have dived on several cruises around the world and have had some fabulous experiences, but it took a lot of work, and some risk, to arrange our own dive plans while we were in each port. We want to help you enjoy scuba-cruising, too, by sharing tips and references at cruise ports around the world so you enjoy your own fabulous dives just the way you want. We’ll give you lots of specific, practical advice for dive shops and sites to consider for each port of interest to you.
